Digital Photo & Video Camp

UP YOUR PHOTO/VIDEO GAME
EXTENSIVE VISUAL EXPLORATION
Students use top industry equipment on-campus, as well as in the beauty of the world renowned landscape around them to produce original photo/video content and create the beginnings of their own demo reel.
Learn relevant skills and techniques on how to use a camera and editing software for profit, as well as personal enjoyment.
This course is designed for beginner to intermediate enthusiasts who are looking to create. Useful for anyone looking to further their knowledge and confidence in visual artistry with a surface level introduction to digital visual media.

IN THE STUDIO, OUT IN NATURE
Each student will have the chance to work in a pro-level studio set, as well as in world famous National Parks and Forests that have been used in thousands of films and commercials. Students will experience:
- Professional studio set environment
- Portrait workshop at the SugarRush studio with Lyndi Benson
- The Bonneville Salt Flats
- Timelapse and Astrophotography in the Manti-La Sal National Forest
- Arches and Canyonlands National Parks
WHATS INCLUDED
The summer camp package includes lodging in the dorm (2 students per room), 3 meals per day, all trips, hotels.

Experience Balance
Aside from the intense technological course activities during the camp, students/attendees balance a day in the studio with fun activities both on and off campus such as hiking, drive-in movie, skate park, paddle boating, and golfing.
what to bring
- Camp registration documents.
- BED AND BATH: Towels, sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap.
- MEDICAL: Emergency contact info, information about medications, allergies, asthma, or other medical conditions
- RECOMMENDED: Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, pajamas, jacket, weather appropriate clothing (long and short pants) and footwear (sandals and hiking shoes), spending money, camera (one will be provided if needed).

INSTRUCTOR TYLER ELIASON "MR E"
CAMP DIRECTOR
Born in California and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, Tyler Eliason does what he loves for a living. Eliason will be teaching digital video next year as well as live streaming athletic events and generating marketing content for Wasatch Academy. He and Bob run a commercial video business based in Salt Lake City. He has 3 kids and is a lover of everything audio, visual or outdoors.
Eliason grew up playing sports and playing the drums. Music opened up many professional opportunities for him down the road, performing with and for internationally recognized professionals, including the President of the United States! He eventually decided to get a degree from the University of Utah in Film and Media Arts with a Minor in Arts and Technology. He has worked on feature films, commercial videos, corporate videos, short films, and network TV shows with everyone from volunteer extra cast members, to A-list actor celebrities. He loves to share his love and excitement for the digital visual arts with anyone eager to learn.
